Terms of Use

The rules that govern your use of MacDaddy software, downloads, and services.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and MacDaddy.io (“MacDaddy”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using any MacDaddy application or visiting macdaddy.io, you accept these Terms. If you disagree with them, do not use our apps or website.

License Grant

MacDaddy software is licensed, not sold. You may install and use an unlimited number of copies for personal or commercial work, provided you do not resell the software or misrepresent the source. Distribution of the unmodified installer is permitted so long as it remains free of charge and includes this notice.

Restrictions

  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the applications except where local law explicitly allows it.
  • You may not remove branding, disable licensing checks, or bundle the software with malware or other harmful code.
  • You may not use MacDaddy assets, screenshots, or copy in a misleading manner.

Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the software remain with MacDaddy. Third-party components such as ffmpeg or ImageMagick are subject to their own open-source licenses.

Updates & Support

We may release updates that change features or system requirements. Continuing to use the software after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Support is provided on a best-effort basis via [email protected].

Termination

We can terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination you must delete all copies of the software and cease use immediately.

Disclaimers

MacDaddy software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You assume all risk for data loss or hardware issues arising from use.

Limitation of Liability

MacDaddy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to obtain the software.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes must be handled in courts located within California.
